TERMS OF SERVICE

BlackBox ("the Service", "we", "us") is an operational intelligence platform that generates structured briefing documents for investigators, legal professionals, corporate clients, and individuals conducting lawful due diligence. The Service is operated by BlackBox Intelligence Ltd ("the Company"), registered at blackbox.fyi.

BlackBox is a preparation and research tool. It is not a licensed investigation firm, a law firm, or a regulated financial services provider. It does not conduct physical surveillance, employ human agents, or access non-public information systems. All data sources used are public domain.

You may use BlackBox only for lawful purposes. Permitted uses include:

• Preparing for professional engagements with lawyers, investigators, or consultants
• Conducting due diligence on potential business partners, counterparties, or employees
• Researching jurisdictional requirements for cross-border matters
• OSINT research and professional investigative work
• Pre-litigation preparation and legal research support
• Corporate compliance and risk assessment

You must comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction, including those governing data protection, privacy, and the use of publicly available information about individuals.

You may not use BlackBox to:

• Stalk, harass, intimidate, or harm any individual
• Facilitate unlawful discrimination based on protected characteristics
• Conduct surveillance of individuals without lawful authority
• Support any criminal enterprise or facilitate money laundering
• Circumvent legal process or obstruct justice
• Generate reports on minors without explicit lawful authority
• Conduct competitive intelligence that constitutes unfair trade practices
• Resell, reproduce, or commercially distribute report outputs without our written permission

We reserve the right to terminate access for any use we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful, unethical, or in violation of these terms or applicable law.

Reports are AI-generated and based on publicly available information. They are provided for informational and preparatory purposes only. They are not legal advice, professional investigative conclusions, or certified intelligence assessments.

The following limitations apply to all reports:

• Firm names, root domains, and contact routes are AI-generated recommendations and have not been verified. You must independently verify all professional contacts before engagement.
• Live enrichment results are retrieved by name and checked by an automated identity review. Records stay unconfirmed unless a discriminating identifier matches, and may refer to different individuals with similar names.
• Fee estimates are indicative ranges, not quotes. Actual professional fees vary by firm, matter, and jurisdiction.
• Database queries may fail, time out, or return incomplete results. A clean result does not constitute global clearance.
• The platform's knowledge of specific jurisdictions varies. Some combinations of operation type and location have received less testing than others.

We make no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, currency, or fitness for purpose of any report generated by the Service.

Access to report generation requires the purchase of report credits as set out on our pricing page. Each credit entitles you to generate one report. Payments are processed by Stripe. By making a payment, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

Monthly subscriptions are not currently available. Any future subscription offering will be governed by terms published before it launches.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Access Codes. Access codes are issued once, at the time of purchase, and are the sole means of redeeming and accessing purchased report credits. BlackBox does not provide password-based accounts or automated code recovery. You are responsible for keeping your access code secure. If a code is lost, BlackBox may assist at its discretion via support@blackbox.fyi, but recovery is not guaranteed.

Report outputs are generated for your personal or professional use. You may use, store, and share reports generated through the Service for the purposes permitted under these terms. You may not resell, sublicense, or commercially distribute reports without our written consent.

The BlackBox platform, including its software, design, source code, and proprietary prompt architecture, is our intellectual property and is protected by applicable IP law. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership of platform IP to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BlackBox Intelligence Ltd shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Reliance on any information contained in a generated report
• Decisions made on the basis of report outputs
• Inaccurate, incomplete, or unavailable live intelligence data
• Actions taken in pursuit of any engagement identified in a report

Our total liability to you in connection with the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BlackBox Intelligence Ltd and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or costs (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service in violation of these terms or applicable law.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
